Nicole Harder, RN, PhD, CHSE, CCSNE is an Assistant Professor, College of Nursing, and the Mindermar Professor in Human Simulation, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba, Canada. Nicole has conducted several education sessions nationally and internationally educating faculty members on the pedagogy of simulation in the health professions. Her simulation research work has been funded by local and national funding bodies. She has authored over 40 papers and several book chapters on the use of simulation in nursing education, mainly in the area of non-technical skills development.

Stephen Guinea PhD, RN(BN), GDipTD Stephen is the Faculty Coordinator of Health Simulation for Australian Catholic University Faculty of Health Sciences. Stephen’s research interests include simulation design for authentic learning, clinical skills development and integrating workplace pedagogy into university curriculum. Stephen has lead several successful teaching development grants and has received three learning and teaching awards including a 2013 Office for Learning and Teaching Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning.

Dr. Dreifuerst is the recipient of numerous awards including the 2014 NLN-Laerdal Debra Spunt Lectureship. In 2014 she was also inducted into the Academy of Nursing Education.
